The foundation stone of the Government Technical School and College (TSC) has been laid at the appointed place adjacent to Mehendiganj Sadar today Saturday around 12 noon. The main details of the event, This educational institution is being built under the "Establishment of Technical School and College in an Upazila" project of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Its foundation stone was laid today in a grand ceremony by:​Chief Guest: Mr. Rajib Ahsan, Honorable Member of Parliament, Barisal-4 (Mehendiganj-Hijla).

It should be noted that this leader, who performed important duties during the tenure of the current government, had been closely supervising the improvement of technical education in Mehendiganj and the quick start of this project.
